SomeThinG We ShoULd LearN..

Though many of u might have seen this article b4, anyway i've received the email again today, so i wana share with everyone:

This is a story abt 2 friends, they were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him.

After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVE MY LIFE.

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend ask him, "After i hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?" The other friend replied "When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."

a very meaningful story that we should learn from because alot of times we tend to bear grudges and not able to forgive wat others have done to us. Sometimes we also have to think abt y such treatment r given to us? (there's always a reason behind every little things ppl do) take my younger bro as an example, everytime we will scold him and tell him wat he shouldn't do, but we r often taken as "someone who always like to scold him, someone who always find fault in him and someone who always blame him when something goes wrong", but our point of doing that is just telling him for his own good, and telling him the right things he should be doing.

But another point also, we can't change everyone's thinking to be like ours, instead we can only try to be more understanding of how they feel/think (we dun have to force ourselves to think like them too hehe..). we dun have to be angry or unhappy abt other ppl's opinion because everyone thinks differently. So long as we r happy, y bother too much abt other ppl? it'll only make ourselves more miserable..

mY WeEkeNd - Part 3

Anyway on sunday, jingyin brought me out to shop for my bday gifts (shared by jingyin, peiqi and ah wee), and we went to bugis village to shop first.. and i saw this jacket similar to the one i saw at far east, far east was selling at $27 and bugis village there was only for $20, so we bought tat for $18 (after some bargain with the aunty, hehe) then we continue walking and went into this accessories shop tat just open for 2nd day, Jy and me bought a pair of ear ring each, really beautiful (i got a pink one she got a green one ^-^). later on we went to the upstairs at bugis village and jy manage to get a cardigan she've been looking for sometime (a cute one with abit of "fold" at the edges).

After bugis village, we went over to far east (i got an appointment to get eye brow trimming, cos i got a complimentary eye brow trimming voucher), didn't really like the trimming cos the person trim until too thin le.. (though already tell her i dun wan thin thin.. sigh) nvm la, in a mth or 2 it will grow out le.. free things r like tat one la.. lol.. lucky its free lol. if still needa pay then even more sian lol.. hahah...

ok while i went for the trimming jy went to get contact lens solution and chat with her colleagues there.. after tat we went for dinner at kfc, and we started our shopping at far east.. hehe.. then i manage to spot one bubbly skirt at my fav shop ^-^ so we got tat as well.

ok before i continue, just like to say many many many thanks to JINGYIN, PEIQI & WEE for the lovely presents (the jacket & the skirt)! (in advance, hehe..)

okie.. anyway after our stop at far east, its still quite early, so we walk over to HMV.. shop for awhile (nothing much oso.. haha) and took some photos.. and walk over to cineleisure (walk abit, nothing much oso.. hahha) and then to the bus stop to take a bus back to clementi.. when we reach there, we took supper (hand made noodle, both of us share), and the jy went home while i went to meet ah dear cos he booking in.

Really had a great day shopping with jy ytd. We just shop and eat and talk, shop and eat and talk.. hhehee.. but today was a very tiring day for me.. ahha.. couldn't keep my eyes open lol..

mY WeEkend - ParT 2

After my DatE wiTh ah Dear~ i head off to fish & co and meet my poly mates while he went home to take some rest hehe..
Actually its just a monthly gathering with my poly friends, but cos one of the guys bday just past and my bday coming soon, so they bought a cake for both of us. (the cake's from secret recipe, its a cheese cake.. yummy yummy ^-^) And i think the fish & co there have this tradition of having the bday person stand on top of the chair while the rest of the ppl sing the bday song.. haha.. so end up both me and the other guy have to stand on top of the chair lor.. haha.. Anyway we manage to sit upstairs of the glass house, and there's a live band singing and playing at the ground floor.. its really nice, and they keep singing bday song tat day.. guess alot of ppl went to celebrate their bday, ya cos quite a few oso kena ask to stand on the chair..

Meet up with JY and Wee on thursday for dinner at jurong east.. ah wee was saying he wana bring us to eat the yong tau fu, then end up we realise that its the same stall jy told me last time tat's nice haha.. anyway while we were waiting for jy to reach, wee and me were discussing abt the mooncake he's gng to buy (inside got the mochi mooncake), makes me tot of the mochi ice cream my colleague treat me last time.. and he say he wana try but haven try so after dinner we went to get the mochi ice cream from ntuc and eat at je entertainment 2nd floor stone tables there.. at first we didn't get to have any table and sit.. so we settle down on the stone chair outside one shop and enjoy the MoChiiiiii~~ *yum Yum*

MeiZhen'S 21sT BiRtHdAy~

Meizhen will be turning 21 tmr!! hehe.. finally grow up le hor~ hope your work will go as smoothly as possible ya! Anyway here are some photos taken on her bday celebration ^-^

Before that.. i would like to praise the food for the bbq~ hhehe.. best man! normally i dun eat alot during bbq, but this one i ate alot wor.. hehe.. the prawns are very fresh and well marinated and cut nicely as well (its cut like the fish & co style, whereby we dun have to use our hands to peel off the shell), the chicken wings are small and juicy, the sotong (soft and well cooked) and sting ray taste fantastic as well. Fried bee hoon and curry oso *yum yum* and not forgetting the satay and otah! last but not least the bday cake ^-^ everything taste great! And also gd service from meizhen the host hehe.. the moment we reached there we sit down and eat and eat and eat the food serve by meizhen (*pai seh huh.. we too lazy to take our food hehe..) oh ya i almost forgot, the syrup is sooo nice.. just right, not too sweet and not too dilute, best syrup i've taste ^-^

Last week i went far east twice! hehe.. but on tue i meet up with farihah and xiaoling go and buy meizhen's present, then on fri i meet up with jingyin go shop our own stuff lol.. too bad jingyin and me forgot to take photos that day, but i took some photos on tue with farihah and xiaoling, too bad sheryl can't make it hehe..

This morning i was sitting at the bus stop waiting for bus, then there's this black bird flying towards my direction, and then it just bang into the glass of the sit i'm sitting behind me, then it fly away.. pengz.. i was so scared when i flies towards me.. tot wana attack me sia.. then it bang into the glass.. *ouch*

My WoRkiNg EnVirOnmEnT

After working for abt a mth+ ppl are asking how my work place look like.. okie, tat day i took some photos while my boss's on leave hehe.. so here you go~

Alrite maybe i'll explain a little, my cubicle is consider a corner of the place, so unless u walk close to my cubicle, else you can't see wats on my monitor screen. Only my colleague sitting behind me can see wat i'm doing heehee.. but still alrite.. better than my boss sitting behind me.. tat will be too sian le hee..

ya lor.. this is my working place.. looks very old and torn rite. hehe.. although the outside looks so well maintained, but my office looks like a store! haha.. anyway the pictures u see above have been tidied up for photo taking haha.. else normally my desk will only be clean at the end of the day b4 i go home.

Eriee~ oR FunnY?

Today during lunch time my colleague was telling us her encounter and other ppl's encounter of "Gh**T"... It might sounds scary, but the way she says it hor, it sounds like a funny joke to us instead cos we keep laughing even though our goosebumps started dropping all over..

Story 1
GuyA is a security of this company, and during the night shifts, while sleeping, he will always get disturbed, and he will needa take a roll of (maybe papers) to brush off "something", cos they say everytime when he sleep, he will feel something brushing pass his legs. (this happens when the display shelf is placed on the right side)
After the display is moved to the left side, the printer near the display shelf starts printing in the night when nobody prints anything.
Last time, Guy A like to take photos using digi cam, so there's this time where another guy was sleeping ard the printer area and a photo is taken, actually u can see a white sillhoutte standing face down on the sleeping person~ too bad i nv get to see the photo, else maybe i can even post it up ^-^

Story 2
GalB was having a KTV session with her grp of friends, (KTV room setting is TV, window side facing the tv, opposite the window is the sofa, oso side facing tht TV, so when u sit on the sofa, u r directly facing the window with curtains) so when she was sitting on the sofa singing song, half way, she feel there's something looking at her, and when she looks up, she saw a female sillhoutte standing just infront of the curtain, and after awhile the sillhoutte just sway off~ so she was super stunt and she stop singing (looking very scared), when her friend ask her wat happen, she dun dare to say because they say u shldn't say out when u see something, so she use her hp and type out she saw something. and her friend beside her says she oso saw it, only the 2 of them in the room saw. the rest of the ppl only feel something......

Story 3
GalB was at home in her toilet, halfway tru her business she saw a hand stretching in the window of her bathroom. she got a big shock and shouted for her mom, but when her mom went in, it disappeared.

Story 4
Ppl working in the hospital, sometimes they will come across the patients and they will say hi to them etc, only after tat then they realise that the patients they say hi to actually died a few days ago...

i can't remember if there's more haha.. will update if there's more ^-^ anyway this kinda things, its up to u to believe if its true anot.

Anyway ytd u was chatting with my aunt (the one getting married soon) cos she came over our house to stay for a night before leaving to KL today. She said that when she brings her boss's children out to play, if they kana mosquito bite or fall down, she'll put some of her saliva on the spot and rub on it, she says its very effective. cos last time there's once when her boss's child fall down and hit the head blue black quite serious, but they dun have medication at home, so my aunt wait until the boss went away she quickly use her saliva and rub the swollen part, after tat the next day recover already hehe.. so my other aunt told her to keep her saliva in a bottle, can go and sell as medication hahaha.. she's just kidding la hehe.. but my aunt says this is wat they do in army outfield, sometimes if really emergency no medication, at least the saliva will help to minimise the pain and stuff (though it can't cure immediately la..).

I've received this sms from a friend who says:

Meaningful rite? hehe.. anyway ytd just got to know from my mom my aunt(my dad's sister) is getting married soon~ she was divorced many many yrs ago, and she have only 1 daughter who went rebellious during her teenage time (think left home or something, but now she quite close with her mom le). During the time where she divorced and daughter come to sg work, she lived on with the rental fees from her tenants. anyway after some yrs she came out to work and now she's getting married! hehe.. felt so happy for her, hope she'll have an ever lasting loving marriage.

Sometimes i think...... nowadays, ppl treat marriage like dunno wat like tat.. say divorce then divorce.. some even worse.. go and have mistress and stuff.. which is so unforgivable..

(anyway talking abt mistress, i feel i have to say something, y everytime men have mistress ppl can forgive them easily by saying they pong chang zhuo xi only, whereas if a woman go out and find men is call cheap, disgrace. then wat abt the guy who went out to find women? isn't he cheap and disgrace at the same time? dun tell me becos he's a guy, he wouldn't lose anything if he make love with another women lo, this is just another excuse by men ok!

another case is if there are 3rd party in a married couple (and that happens to be a woman) then the women will always be called a hu li jing (fox spirit) who go and spoil other ppl's marriage, but how come they nv go and scold the man who play ard with her? maybe is the man initiate the first pl, maybe he's cheating her telling her his not married? y issit that always women to be blame when something like this happen?).

and u noe wat, if a woman stays by a man when he's very down and poor, but when he gets rich, 99% of them will go and find other women and leave the woman who went tru thick and thin with him. wa liew, wang en fu yi leh! some even worse lor, wait until the new woman dun wan him le then he knows the previous woman's good and wana go back to her (cheapo la! might as well go n die..) - ok la, i noe i nv cover the part whereby men are oso ditched by woman and stuff, but anyway y shld i side men & talk abt woman's bad side since i'm a woman myself? :p

ps: anyway i dun like women from Ch**A! some of them are really bitch! haha..

oh pai seh, i went abit side track, anyway i wanted to say that most of the ppl in the olden days, when they get married, they'll love their partners forever and wouldn't even think abt divorcing. even if they met any really big problems, they'll stay together (sometimes even for the sake of their children). but nowadays this kinda things dun really happen..

alrite, joke of today will be:

Jim and Mary were both patients in a Mental Hospital.

One day, while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly umped into the deep end. He sank like a stone to the bottom and stayed there. Mary promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled him out. When the medical director became aware of Nary's heroic act, he immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as he now considered her to be mentally stable.

When he went to tell her the news, he said: "Mary, I have good news & bad news. The good news is you're being discharged because since u were able to jump in and save the life of another patient, i think you've regained your senses. The bad news is that Jim, the patient you saved, hanged himself in the bathroom with the belt of his robe. I am sorry, but he's dead".

Mary replied, "He didn't hang himself, i put him there to dry".

SomE MeN sOoo DisGusTinG..

Today after work, i was talking bus to Jurong Point. While on the bus there's this (malay/indian i can't differentiate) guy standing in front of me, side facing me. At first i didn't notice anything.. but after sometime, i realise that he's hands are in his pocket and seems to be "playing" with "something", i tried not to think too much la.. but after awhile he took his hand out of his pocket and i saw something sticking out of the pants -_-" (think he nv wear underwear or his wearing very loose boxes). And i think he knows that "thing" is dangling ard so he tried to "adjust" it -_-" after awhile he put his hand back in again! (wa liew.. anyway i didn't purposely go n look one lor.. he's standing infront of me.. its so OBVIOUS! and he have BO.. i almost vomitted when i alight the bus.. -_-!!!

I dunno wat they are thinking lor.. if they wana do it.. do it at home! dun do it in public lor.. and this is not the first time i experience this kinda things lor.. there was once at clementi interchange, i was sitting at the bus stop waiting for bus, then this guy (i forgot the race le) was standing diagonally ard 5 meters from me. he was holding a file with his right hand, and playing with his "thing" using his left hand. well from the other ppl point of view they cant see anything cos he have his file to cover, but my view was quite clear! (anyway.. although my view was quite clear, i dun dare to look directly at him.. too disgusted if its really happening), well i sort of know wat he was doing because from the side of my eyes i can see something sticking out of his pants -_-!!!!!!!!

I better stop.. i'm feeling so sick and giddy now.. anyway after the disgusting encounter on bus, i went to the post office to post some letters, because i have a few big letters, so i use the top part (where u pull and throw in ur mail), so after throwing in the letters, when i was closing it, the whole thing detached from its location and drop in. BUT BUT BUT!! my hand is still holding the handle! so the whole weight drop onto my knuckles! i remain silent (cos the metal thing make a really loud sound when drop down) everyone sort of look at my direction. so i quickly try to put the thing back into its position (which i didn't as my hand hurts alot) and quickly walk off.. i was crying inside man! it was so so so so painful ~>_<~ anyway now its better already, only hurts abit when i rub on it.. must be tat stupid guy make me so unlucky today.. handsome guy nv see any, disgusting guys alot out there -_-"

A girl (call her Ace), Ace and her mother-in-law dun like each other.. Everyday, they will quarrel and quarrel. So one day Ace couldn't stand it anymore, she wants to get rid of her mother-in-law, so she went to find her friend (who sells medicine) and tell him her problem. So he gave her a packet of medicine telling her to put in her mother-in-law's food everyday. Its the kinda medicine which will take a longer time to take effect. So her friend told her, "I think its better for u to treat your mother-in-law nicer, so that if one day she die (from the medicine) other ppl wouldn't suspect its u who do it". So Ace went back with the medicine, and since that day onwards, she try to be nice with her mother-in-law, at first her mother-in-law feels weird, but when she sees that Ace treats her so nice, she begins to be nice with her. And as the days go by, their relationship gets better and Ace went back to her friend, ask her friend for a cure because she dun wan her mother-in-law to die. But her friend told her "the medicine i gave u are vitamins" *grinz*

Moral of the story: Dun expect ppl to treat u nice if u didn't in the 1st place.

Kk's Bday CeleBraTiOn

Okie, before i start anything, i still remember i said i'm gng to post the photo with strange lights right.. here you go, anyway its nothing scary la.. just moving lights only hehhe... btw, i nv do any photoshop effect hor! this one i show jingyin in my camera ytd, she can be my witness ^-^

Okie, back to the topic, ytd we had a little celebration for Kk's bday at bugis. Few of us meet up early to go buy Kk's present (with him ard to choose wat he like), after a long walk (to me la, cos my legs was quite tired.. i'm not gd at shopping though i love it hahah..) we manage to get something he like (a swiss army cologne). After that we went to Kk's fav eating place (the western food that sells a set at $15.50 nett), so that he can eat his fav black pepper steak. After desert, is cake cutting session hahha... okie less words more pic..

This is the poster i make for him cos he say his hostel too plain le, anyway i guess maybe he wouldn't put in hostel cos he scared his S.H.E will spoil hahha. WiLLy WonKer~

WheeEeee~ I went to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ytd. So niCee! Still remember during my pri sch days i loved to read Roald Dahl books.. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was one of my favourite childhood story ^-^ I read quite a few times, and I still remember the story hehhe.. the movie one is almost the same as the story book.

Anyway after the show i went to watch the fireworks at marina bay. Ytd one was Portugese theme, i went to the wrong place to wait for the fireworks (actually is because i see alot of ppl waiting there, so i wait with them thinking that pl can see lor). but when i heard *boom boom boom*, i didn't see any fireworks hahah.. anyway i followed where the crowds went (again) and finally saw the fireworks! haha.. but its quite far and high (so those low fireworks i didn't manage to catch) but the fireworks was *woohoo* steady bom pee pee! hehe.. fantastic!

One strange encounter ytd.. b4 the fireworks starts.. i took a few pictures using my cam.. some pictures have strange lights over them.. dunno wat happen oso hehe.. pictures will be available in my next blog, so stay tuned! hahha...

After the strange encounter~~ since ytd night~ i was getting more and more unlucky..
1. is the mp3 player my bro bought, tried transfering songs from my com, but keep hanging (stupid!), after more than 5 tries i give up.. (at night when he come home and try using his com then no problem wor!)
2. then my com internet connection spoil (can't log on to the internet-oso dunno y, tonight go home have to go fix).
3. Today come office oso another unlucky day.. printer ink finish, after changing the catridge, i can't print my doc! wa liew..
4. then, one of the reception sick (so i have to take over from lunch until i off work at 7pm)..
5. then just now the nets machine paper finish using, now ppl can't use nets to pay.
6. i think just now got one payment i charge wrong category~ die.. later have to check with my colleague see how.

see.. i can come up with a story call "Series of Unfortunate Events" already!!! i can't imagine what other unlucky things lying ahead of me~~~ Can anybody save me?

HuNgrY GhoSt FesTivaL

Today is the 1st day of the Lunar 7th Month, so maybe i can start of my blog with a scary story? hehhe.. anyway this is the only story i can think of right now. (guess most ppl have already heard b4, anyway...)

This is a true story that happen in a hospital.. On the first Friday of every month, in this particular ward, and this particular bed number (13), something bad will happen to this person sleeping on this particular bed in this particular ward. Yes, every 1st friday of every month in the morning 10am, the patient sleeping on this particular bed will die in a mystery (not even the doctors know whats the reason behind). And everyone says that bed is being curse, anyone who sleeps there on the particular day will be cursed and die on that day.. Well, the doctors dun believe that there's curse in this world, so finally, they decided to take a look on wat exactly happen on the friday morning.. and.. when 10am reached.. they saw an aunty.. drifting into the ward.. pluck out the life support system's plug.. pluck in her vacumn cleaner and started cleaning up... -_-"

okok i know its stupid.. anyway here are some pointers to take note:

1. Do not stay late at night outside (try to be home b4 10pm).
2. When walking home at night, do not look back when u heard someone calling u.
3. Do not step on the ash of the "papers" ppl burn.
4. Do not walk under the clothes ppl hang, esp underwears - this will bring bad luck, when u r in bad luck, u r more likely to bounce into "those".
5. Do not anyhow scold "things".
6. Do not ask too much questions when you see ppl doing "funny stuffs", just keep quiet, and dun laugh!
7. Do not play musical instrument at night in the house.

so far, i can only think of these, if got more i'll post it up hehe.. back to work~

GiRLs GaThEriNg & BowLinG

Waaaa!!! Just had a gathering with my ex colleagues last friday, it was really really gd! So happy to see them! Really miss them alot alot, miss all the times we spend in Edno.. especially tea break time (everyday got diff food for tea break until boss oso know wat time we tea break everyday...) watching naruto with farihah and meizhen and getting crazy all over it (we must really find one day to meet up for naruto session okie! i know its hard but try our best k, cos i really can't wait to watch! hahah), gossiping and laughing ard in our test lab like nobody's business.. celebrating bdays like throwing party in the office.. anyway those were days in office (no more now *sob*).. *to those reading this, pls take note that we also do our work well and on time k. cos i know i sound like having chalet in the office hahahah... must be wondering y the company seems so gd we still wana leave the company rite! hahah.. actually we r just ku3 zhong1 zhuo4 le4 (enjoying ourselves despite the bad circumstances), just that the bad things i wouldn't wana say out only.. else i think the page will goes on and on.. non stop...

Anyway, back to the gathering, we went to eat at sakura (far east plaza) and because we have too much things to talk abt, so we went over to coffee bean at wheel lock place to continue chatting (cos sakura to noisy le, we talk until sheryl and xiaoling almost like no voice like tat hahah) Meizhen told us about her work which she quit after 1 wk, that pl is really bad.. ppl all workaholic and kept to themselves (not like us, over friendly and talkative! hahahha) but lucky she quit fast, else she'll have to stay there for 2 yrs due to the bond she sign. Sheryl will be starting a new job soon, all the best for her, hope it'll be a gd job! Xiaoling currently looking for jobs, quite poor thing cos all of us leave edno already, bet she felt very lonely after tat.. but i'm sure she can get a new job real soon, and meizhen too! hehhe.. farihah leh, busy with her work, never hear her relaxing one.. and oso our naruto supplier! heheh.. thanks for all the hard work downloading! :x I can't wait for our next outing! Here are some photos i got from farihah today =)

Anyway, last thursday we went bowling at Jurong Super Bowl heheh.. had a fun time competing with our expert bowler Kk. I was really bad in the 1st game.. 3 EGGS for the 1st 3 tries! thats really a new record of the century and my total score for 1st game is onyl 20+! hahah.. 3 of us (me, shiqiang & gf(wanyi)) oso lose to Kk and tong's team lor.. imagine how bad i did.. anyway the 2nd game i went over to Kk's team as i was playing too bad hahha.. but 2nd game i still manage to get 50+ / 70+ score which is a slight improvement heheh.. but this time round we lose to the other team, maybe its me la.. bring bad luck to the grp i in hahahha.. anyway we played for another round, the 3rd round, i went back to shiqiang's team, 3rd game i did quite well wor hehe.. cos i score 108!!! my highest record of my life bowling! hahah.. (anyway just in case u tot this is the first time i go bowling.. nope its not k hehe) but this 108 is purely luck la.. the ppl who's at the bowling centre knows the best, hahha.. anyway we took some photos b4 and during the game cos we look so cartoon in the bowling shoes!

As shown in the above pic, I'm someone similar to a pig, eats alot and sleeps alot. Eating and sleeping are my favourite past time and its very important to me also! Looking at the wings and wondering, "do pigs fly?" well pigs dun fly but Iwan to fly! Fly away to any place I wan, freedom!
