sometimes when you are very shui bian or u dun mind most of the things, you dun calculate and u try ur best to help when requested, you know wat u ended to be? ans: you will be taken for granted. ppl will think "aiya, so and so ok with anything one la, so dun worry abt it lor, she wouldn't mind one la, she such a nice & understanding person." this is wat will happen if you r nice all the time. when you always spare a tot for wat ppl think, will they spare a tot for u as well? will they put themselves in ur shoe and think for u?
i admit sometimes i oso forgot abt other ppl's feeling and say the wrong thing at the wrong time, but i've always spare a tot for other ppl and i've always try to be nice and help out everytime i'm requested to.. or sometimes i even offer to help out without being asked to.. maybe that's y sometimes i feel unhappy when ppl neglected my feelings.. even if nasty things happen, i'll just treat it as something that had past and not bear grudges like some ppl does..
i was just wondering if ever, one day i become a nasty person, i dun spare a tot for anyone, and reject ppl when they ask for help, wat will i become.. i'll just be someone whom is hated by ppl behind the back and then had lotsa fake friends who will "smile" infront of me, but scolding me behind my back.
but sometimes being nice will hav bad points oso, cos ppl who dunno u will feel u r such hypocrite, they'll think you so helpful meh? act act only la.. just wana make ppl think u r nice lor.. and then u get hated by this kinda ppl, because they think u r just trying to make everyone like u.. but wat i feel is, i rather ppl treat me nice, because they know im a nice person instead of actually they dun like me one, but they just pretend they r ok with me just because we r colleagues or any other relation..
then sometimes, when u r too nice.. ppl will think u r stupid.. haha! they will say, "u hor, so stupid, dunno how to reject ppl's request for help ar? like tat ppl will take it for granted that u will help them everytime" haha.. but my own policy is, if its within my limit and time, i will definitely help =)
i still remb last time in pri sch, some gal told me she hated me at first, because she find me very kpo.. hehe.. then aft some time (hmm when we abt to graduate) she feel that im a helpful person instead haha! i guess maybe thats the reason y sometimes i feel got ppl like not happy with me like tat (for no reason, to my understanding).. machiam i offended them.. haha!
remb last time i did mention abt some dispute in my office last time? well, it just seems that some man are just plainly petty.. cannot take things easy and bear grudges.. anyway on monday when i came back to work aft a weekend break, i realise my com had been used by someone else.. y i knew it.. cos:
normally when i log on to my com, then my email will be auto downloaded. and on mon when i came back, open my mail, fri nite and sat email had been already downloaded to my inbox. im not working on sat and sun, so unless got ppl log on my com, else the email wouldn't be downloaded.
win xp, when u click on the start menu, the left hand side will show all the programs that you've recently opened (shortcut icon). those icons had been removed, leaving blank space there. if nobody touch my com, those icons wouldn't be missing by itself.
when i open some of my programs, the recent files shown was different from the files that i had opened last fri at work.
i was abit pissed, cos if you wana use my com even if u nv ask my permission, you have to inform me that u using. somemore my com, the user acct only hav admin and my acct. if you log on as admin, my email wouldn't be able to download cos its diff acct plus, the colleague that hav the admin acct did not work on week end. which means this person who had used my com knows my password.
the only ppl who knows my password are the few of them, cos sometimes weekends they needa log on my com to print some office stuff.. so i gave them the password, but that doesn't gif the person the excuse to log on using my password and access my things without informing me abt it. the person actually browse through some of my doc lor.. plus, if u nv let me know u use my com and then later i found out, how will i feel? i will think that u must be up to something thats y u dun dare to let me know u using it. plus the person tot he can just use and shut down without letting anyone know abt it. *rolls eyes* i had been using this com for sometime, u think i wouldn't realise that something is wrong meh? the most obvious part is the missing icons in the start menu..
i sort of know who the person is.. but i dun wana jump to conclusion, so i asked.. but when i asked, the person deny.. wat the hell!? u dare to do u dun dare to admit, no balls issit? the evidence are all there lor.. dun tell me is ghost who had done it *rolls eyez* anyway i've requested for a change of password already.. i tot nobody do things so over-board, i trusted everyone in the office, but i was wrong, there are sure to have some black sheeps inside. i wouldn't have been so angry if the person says "oh ya, i had to use ur com to do some office stuff, sorry i log in without ur consent." when i asked. somemore in order not to let the person feel that i am pointing fingers at him i asked him "do you know if anyone had used my com on saT?" he thinked and said "no", i was super pissed.. but im sure he tot i wouldn't have realised and was a little shocked when i asked him.. but anyway... maybe its not him.. but he was the biggest suspect.. and nobody owned up..

keke~ meet up with jy for ktv & shopping session ytd =) had a great time singing and shopping, it had been a long time since i went shopping with her. went to get my bday pressie too! tong suggested getting an ex one for me this yr.. something that i wouldn't use my own money and buy one.. so me and jy headed down to orchard in search for something nice.. and we actually come up with a conclusion, those branded stuffs are designed specially for those rich tai tai who had more than enough of money to spend. cos most of the branded stuffs that we browse tru are all aunty-liked accessories / clothings.. definitely not suitable for me and jy!
but... but... but... still manage to get a pretty white wallet (picture to be up soon) at GUESS =) reasonable price oso ^-^ really cool.. cos i had been in search for a wallet for some time.. the wallets at wallet shop doesn't really meet my criteria.. all thanks to tong, kk, weihua, wee and esp jy (for bringing me out to get my present ^-^) for the wallet.
sometimes i just couldn't help feeling restricted... mom always says and nags and restrict me on this and that.. i know she meant well and for my own good.. but im a big girl now, i know how to take care of myself.. i know she oso dun wana worry so much abt me, but just can't help it cos im her daughter.. most of the time i listen to her cos i dun wana upset her cos i know she had sacrifice and suffer alot for us and for the family..
but hor.. if everytime like that then life will be so boring.. wana go oversea, cannot.. wana go out late with friends, cannot.. all cannot cannot.. else will be nagging and nagging from her.. this better not that better not.. i know she had given me freedom of gng out la etc etc.. but sometimes i just feel i've not gotten the kinda freedom which i wanted (i still feel like a kid sobz).. i know she will be very upset if she knows i'm doing things she dun like me to do.. but like i say b4, i dun wan to live in the world where i listen and do wat ppl think i shld be doing and live in other ppl's "shadow".. this may hurt them, because their intention was for my own gd, and i'll just be a disappointment to them.
wat if it happens to u? wat will u do? i mean, if u r doing something that most of the ppl feel u shldn't be doing, but u think that's wat u wanted.. will u fight for urself and get wat u wanted - giving disappointment to all the ppl and be happy of wat u've achieve, or will u gif up wat u like and do wat other ppl want u to do - making other ppl happy and upseting urself?
if u board a cab and it stinkS?! wat if the previous person who board the cab had left a very strong smell in the cab due to the food they buy etc, or someone had just vomitted or kids pooing? (but i guess the taxi driver will clean up and refresh their cars if it really happens before taking the next passenger..) but wat if.... the taxi driver had a very stinky car perfume or worse, the taxi driver had got BO... wat will u do? will u tell the driver b4 u get down? frankly speaking i dun have the courage haha.. but i think this kinda thing we have to let the person know, else everyone will be avoiding him without him knowing wats gng on.. somemore we are paying for the service.. wa.. can imagine if ur ride is gng to be a very long ride and u have to endure the smell throughout the rise? think can faint inside already lol..
thinking the fact that we are paying alot more money than last time for riding a cab, we shld get to enjoy better services by them lor.. since we can't stop them from hiking the fares, then we have to make sure we get gd services isn't it. like we go restaurants with 10% service charge, we are paying for the service, so the waiters/waitresses shld serve us polietly and let our meals be an enjoyable one cos we are paying them wor..
im not sure if i mention b4, but some of our service staffs in sg are soooo "i dunno wats that word to describe". the moment they see an ang moh, they will just let them jump queue and serve them first. hey! i bet the ang moh will be laughing at us asian ppl.. when we asians go to their country we get sort of "outcasted", but when they come to our country, they r treated like a "king"~ (or issit that their money are golds and our money are stones? we are using the same money for god sake) we asians dun even stand at our own side, it just becomes a laughing stock for other ppl.. no matter who u r, u still hav to queue up.. first come first serve basis, else why the need for queueing up in the first place?
it had been a long long time since i ate Bk's breakfast.. if i remb correctly, the last time (which was oso my first time) eating bk breakfast was at changi airport where we went over early in the morning to send peiqi off, which was 1 or 2 yrs back? till now, today, i went to eat the croissan'which meal.. very nice wor~ hehe.. (like nv eat b4 like tat) got a piece of flat omelette+cheese+bacon(i choose bacon, they have other choices like ham or chicken fillet). then the meal come with ice milo and harsh brown (in small pieces) *yum yum* i think its better than their normal burger lor, hehe..

every yr, with tong gifing the head start on 17 june onwards, we will have lotsa bday gatherings! hehe.. attended kk's bday at kbox marina on sat, we took the buffet package where we get to sing and have our dinner at the same time. time was abit too little (3hrs) for us to sing tho.. food was average.. we manage to catch the firewrks at marina sq, there were ALOT of ppl... at first we went to the wrong place to view, cos when the firewrks started, we couldn't see anything, and everyone was like rushing to get a view of the firewrks and ended up trampling some building models on the ground that a grp of ppl are working at. even tho with the barrier tape, those "uncivilised" ppl just pull off the tape and trample on their models just to view the firewrks. come on la.. nv see firewrks b4 issit? bunch of sua gus.. anyway the firewrks finale was great, the whole sky turn into golden dust! hehe.. follow that we had 2 more games of bowling with nic and his friends.. and now im all aching all over.. my legs ache more than my hands do -_-" i wonder i used my hands or my legs to bowl ^-^ haha..

finally went for my haircut at M.Sq! service was good, i had a mini shampooing session + haircut + blow = 1 hr for $49 - 20% = $39.. hehe.. rec by my ex colleague, said this hairdresser was gd, so i give it a try lor.. had a diff haircut this time, i cut away my layered and replace with a straight hairstyle, she did abit of concave for me where its slightly longer infront and shorter behind (but i dun see much diff hehe). my hair looks abit more aft the haircut, which i was glad, cos i find my hair too little already.. hehe.. (getting bald soon like tat..)
then i had my dinner at crystal jade express (the one at wisma basement). had the luncheon meat noodle, and they use practically maggie mee to cook it (pricing wise $4.80 if not wrong.. cos they use maggie mee ma haha), so if u dun wana eat maggie there, its better to order their roast duck noodle soup or chic or roast pork etc (they will gif that kinda wanton mee noodle instead pricing shld be abt $5.80-$6.80 like tat depending wat kinda meat u order). all the food there looks nice! *yumz* especially their bread toast with ice cream! hehe.. portion is quite big, so i suggest to share among 2 to 3 pax or 4 pac oso not a prob if its immediately aft ur meal. not al crystal jade sells the same things, and pricing wise oso different for their diff style of outlets. they have oso crystal jade kitchen / palace / etc etc i cant remb all haha..
modem spoiled.. just went to get an integrated router+modem and 2 adapter.. costing me $268 in total!! i'm broke for the mth~ *hint* gng out for dinner means cheap food k, no choice im a qiong xiao hai now~ =p
have u ever get so fed up with ur boss and can't understand wat he/she is thinking abt? they can be very flickered minded where they can tell u something like tat, then aft that they reacted to wat they've sayed to u.. or they can tell u this and then the next time tell u another thing, causing u to be blurred and unsure abt wat he/she actually wanteD...
well.. i know i cant blame them for that, cos their baseline is to ensure that the company is earning/doing well, cos every decision they made, they have to be responsible for it and that it wouldn't make any big impact/effect on the company. but sometimes just couldn't help but get abit unhappy that they keep changing their mind..
maybe next time if i become boss or wat i'll be the same hahah! then my subordinates will say i always very flickered minded, cannot make up my mind, dunno wat exactly i want lol~

(kk, dun be jealous ya~ we'll go down another time once u r back from ur trip hehe..) followed by bishi bashi challenge with tong at the nearby arcade.. i would say its a draw game for us cos we are gd at different stages of the game =) then we head down to The Cathay where i my gastric starts to feel uncomfortable, went to puke but ended up feeling even worse than b4.. no matter i sit down, stand up or lie down, it hurts the same. then weihua bought hot chocolate for me (as sweet as ever =) remb tat time i just recover from my sickness, he went to buy the umbrella in case i kena the rain?), but i couldn't finish it and then we shared among ourselves to finish up hehe.. and headed home (i'm such a spoiler, nan de got the chance to gather, but cos of me we had to end it early.. sorry peeps! hhee, more gatherings next time ya~)
Poly gathering was great, cos its been a really really long time since we meet up.. but only 6 of us turn up instead, no worries, our next gathering (in 2 weeks time) will be a better one! hehe..
as seen in all the pictures above, my hair sux! haha.. i need a haircut! the hairstylist i visit in far east already moved back to msia le =( now i have to find new hairdresser whom i can trust my hair to.. my ex-colleague actually rec this hairdresser in marina sq, so i went over on sun hoping to get a hair cut.. who knows, she so pouplar that she's almost fully booked for the whole day.. no choice, gotta go down another, making sure i make an appointment with her before hand. anyway, there's this mini food fair at ms with quite some gd food there =) the "shark fin" was gd! the diced chicken spring roll and the kong bak bao was delicious as well. basically, i loved food fair! hehe..
