I've received this sms from a friend who says:

Meaningful rite? hehe.. anyway ytd just got to know from my mom my aunt(my dad's sister) is getting married soon~ she was divorced many many yrs ago, and she have only 1 daughter who went rebellious during her teenage time (think left home or something, but now she quite close with her mom le). During the time where she divorced and daughter come to sg work, she lived on with the rental fees from her tenants. anyway after some yrs she came out to work and now she's getting married! hehe.. felt so happy for her, hope she'll have an ever lasting loving marriage.
Sometimes i think...... nowadays, ppl treat marriage like dunno wat like tat.. say divorce then divorce.. some even worse.. go and have mistress and stuff.. which is so unforgivable..
(anyway talking abt mistress, i feel i have to say something, y everytime men have mistress ppl can forgive them easily by saying they pong chang zhuo xi only, whereas if a woman go out and find men is call cheap, disgrace. then wat abt the guy who went out to find women? isn't he cheap and disgrace at the same time? dun tell me becos he's a guy, he wouldn't lose anything if he make love with another women lo, this is just another excuse by men ok!
another case is if there are 3rd party in a married couple (and that happens to be a woman) then the women will always be called a hu li jing (fox spirit) who go and spoil other ppl's marriage, but how come they nv go and scold the man who play ard with her? maybe is the man initiate the first pl, maybe he's cheating her telling her his not married? y issit that always women to be blame when something like this happen?).
and u noe wat, if a woman stays by a man when he's very down and poor, but when he gets rich, 99% of them will go and find other women and leave the woman who went tru thick and thin with him. wa liew, wang en fu yi leh! some even worse lor, wait until the new woman dun wan him le then he knows the previous woman's good and wana go back to her (cheapo la! might as well go n die..) - ok la, i noe i nv cover the part whereby men are oso ditched by woman and stuff, but anyway y shld i side men & talk abt woman's bad side since i'm a woman myself? :p
ps: anyway i dun like women from Ch**A! some of them are really bitch! haha..
oh pai seh, i went abit side track, anyway i wanted to say that most of the ppl in the olden days, when they get married, they'll love their partners forever and wouldn't even think abt divorcing. even if they met any really big problems, they'll stay together (sometimes even for the sake of their children). but nowadays this kinda things dun really happen..
alrite, joke of today will be:
Jim and Mary were both patients in a Mental Hospital.
One day, while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly umped into the deep end. He sank like a stone to the bottom and stayed there. Mary promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled him out. When the medical director became aware of Nary's heroic act, he immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as he now considered her to be mentally stable. When he went to tell her the news, he said: "Mary, I have good news & bad news. The good news is you're being discharged because since u were able to jump in and save the life of another patient, i think you've regained your senses. The bad news is that Jim, the patient you saved, hanged himself in the bathroom with the belt of his robe. I am sorry, but he's dead". Mary replied, "He didn't hang himself, i put him there to dry".
