we've always see ppl lost their memories and stuff inside dramas, stories, comics etc etc.. the most recent tv drama i've watch (wang zi bian qing wa) on tv depicts a guy met a girl & fall in love with the girl when he'd lost his memory.. but after he recover his memory, he totally forgot wat had happen during the period he had lost his memory (this story almost to same as one korean drama my mom had watched keke). but though he had forgot wat had happen, he slowly find himself falling back in love with the girl whom he love during his lost of memory, which he himself oso can't explain why this happen..

thinking abt this reminds me of something i read on a comic, it says, a person have 2 kind of memory, one is the memory store inside our brain, another one is physical memory.. eg. maybe u've lost u memory, and forgot that u actually love this person, he's a total stranger to u, but when something happen to him, say maybe he cut his hand accidentally, by right since you've lost u memory, you wouldn't be feeling too much abt wat happened, but.. somehow or another u automatically run over and see if his hand is alrite anot, at the same time thinking "eh.. how come i so anxious or wat..". even though you've lost your mental memory, but ur physcial memory is still there... well i'm not really gd at explaining hehe.. but whether anot this is true, i oso dunno..

Hi Yun,
Last year I've learnt in psychology that the memory is primarily made up of the Short term memory and the Long term memory. Those things in your STM will last for a while. For example, now I'm studying for exam, I store my info in my STM and they will be gone when my exam finish. But at the same time, when I keep repeating stuffs over and over, some of the things are transferred to my LTM.

I know the show is suppose to be a romance flick, never go think so much about STM or LTM one la... Just that it remind me of it, so I share with you.

hmmm... still got the terms, i only know short term memory lost from Dory in Finding Nemo haha.. the example u gave is very typical, but didn't know there's such thing define as STM and LTM, still can tranfer from one storage space to another one, though its true la, but sounds funny keke.. Good good! learn something new today =)
