The Real Smell of Rain Drops

u know.. it had been some time.. they come once every few mths and this cycle had been gng on for a yr or 2, i've seen their eggs, and i've seen the little birdies that were just hatched out from the eggs =)

(but i've not witness the birdies coming out from their egg.. only seen them when they already outta their shells, and i've not witness any egg laying session, cos everytime i realise they were there, they already started hatching hee)

these 2 lovey birds (one fat - which i assume is female one, one skinny - which i assume is the male one) , had build a nest near a plant ard my house (please do not let ppl know where i live, i dun wan anything to happen to the poor birdies) every now and then, they will come by and lay a few eggs in the nest, and then during the nite time the fat bird will sit on the egg until morning comes, they change shift, the skinny one will take over.. yup, everyday without fail until the little birdies are hatched out, then they will continue to be in their nest with their children below them, until their feathers are dry up. u know, those little birdies are so cute cos their feather r still quite short, then at a certain pt of time when its dried up, all the feather actually stands up.. keke..

sometimes, during the hatching period, some ppl who passed by or watever will go ka jiao the bird one.. so bad.. make the bird fly away, then sometimes the egg will not be properly hatched lo (become spoil egg). i just wana share this sweet little thing which we dun really see every day.. but i dun wish for any disturbance or spoiler to obstruct the nature cycle.

i wonder where those little ones go... sometimes i even ask my mom "scaly the 2 birds is their children, become big big then come back hatch and continue the cycle" haha.. but dun think so la.. cos everytime is the fat and skinny one keke... shld be the same bird.. was wondering, scaly they actually have a bigger home elsewhere, so everytime they will come here and hatch egg, then bring the kids back haha.. a big family of birdies.. *think too much* *smacks head* haha..
